Launch is an MCG program that focuses on providing paid work experience opportunities and career and employment coaching to young adults struggling with the “I need experience to get a job – I need a job to get experience” cycle.  Launch works closely with local employers to provide supported work experience placements allowing the participants to acquire and enhance their skills, overcome barriers to employment and receive job retention support.

Launch provides each participant:

• Individualized one-on-one career and employment coaching
• Job search skills development
• Up to 12 weeks of paid work experience
• Development of an individualized action plan
• Job retention support after a job has been obtained to enhance participant success
• Access to a Resource Area including computer work stations, job board, and resource library
• Training salary for time spent in coaching/workshop sessions

The Youth Engaging Workplaces Project is an employment initiative that falls under Inclusion Foothills’ Inclusive Employment Programming. Youth, aged 16-24, who enroll in the YEW Project will participate in a twelve-week session which is tailored to their specific experience and career goals. Through frequent and targeted meetings, in conjunction with group format and workshop sessions, the youth will advance from unemployed and confused about employment to being an informed, motivated potential employee in a local business or organization. The goal of the YEW program is to curate and place youth into positions within their local communities while developing both their soft and hard employment skills such as self awareness, confidence, effective communication and time management.

Inclusion Foothills understands that caring for an individual with special needs requires a great deal of focus and attention. Parents and caregivers may need assistance to be able to take a break or focus their attention on other important matters.

Because of this, Inclusion Foothills has developed a database of potential Care Providers. This registry helps connect families to Respite, Job Coaching, PT, OT and SLP assistance providers when they are in need. Please Contact us to access database of respite providers.
