Majorville Cairn and Medicine Wheel – The medicine wheel sits on top of a grassy hill 25 km east of Milo near the Bow River. The structure consists of a round stone cairn, 9 m in diameter, surrounded by a 27 m wide cobble circle connected to the cairn by 28 stone spokes.

Fishing Pond

With a membership you can go fishing in Vulcan.

Outdoor Activities in Vulcan

The Games park includes a firepit, horsehoes, bean bag toss, ladder golf and washer toss. If you don’t have your own equipment, the Vulcan Library has a set you can borrow. This is located at 3rd Ave. N. Vulcan next to the outdoor fitness equipment and a kids park.

Disc Golf is located at Birch Park in Allen Acres and along Elizabeth Street next to the Hospital. Discs can also be borrowed from the library or purchased from Furniture Villa.

The Vulcan Lions Swimming Pool is open from May long weekend until the end of August. (403) 485-2990

Next to the swimming pool is a kids park, spray park, skateboard park and beach volleyball pit.
