Hacking ADHD Motivation
Why does it seem that so many kids with ADHD can’t motivate themselves to get their homework or chores done, or even put on their shoes, without a significant fire under their butt. As parents, we don’t have the time to stand over our child or the energy to intimidate them into completing every little task. But here is the secret you might not know yet: ADHD brains have a different motivation system! In this session, you will learn what actually motivates the ADHD brain. We’ll discuss ways to work with the ADHD brain instead of fighting against it. And all without hovering or raising your voice!
Presented by Kendall Delamont, ADHD Educator. Kendall holds B.A. in Behavioural Sciences, a B.Ed., and certification as an ADHD Educator. She spent 8 years teaching in the classroom before creating The ADHD Toolkit– a series of in-depth, research-based courses designed to support people with ADHD and the people who love them. Thanks to her own ADHD diagnosis, Kendall brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. She’s passionate about equipping others with practical tools designed to work with the ADHD brain rather than heaping on shame, guilt, and ineffective viral trends. Kendall also empowers over 200k followers across her social media platforms with practical strategies, relatable experience shares, and ever-advancing scientific research.

Growing Resilient Teens
Before High School graduation, one-third of adolescent girls will experience depression, anxiety disorders, self-harm
or an eating disorder. However, there is an incredible power in caregivers who can support our youth, both young
women and men, before they seek therapy.
Parents, caregivers, coaches, and teachers have extraordinary healing powers for today’s youth. In this
workshop presentation, steps and strategies will be discussed that provide effective emotional coaching tools for
today’s youth as they develop through adolescence and into young adulthood.
Talking does not grow neurons; experience grows neurons. This presentation is designed to give
caregivers the skills to become their child’s emotional coach. The workshop will provide participants with:
- Basic introduction of interpersonal neurobiology,
- Where emotions live in our brains,
- The essential role emotions play in mental well being,
- How to identify emotions in youth,
- How to become an emotional coach in only five steps.
This presentation was developed by therapists at Juno House based on experiential therapy, and attachment and
neuroscience research.
